DENISE M. BOWEN, ESQUIRE
Divorce is stressful, even in relatively straightforward cases. My role is to help clients understand what matters, what doesn’t, and how to move through the process without creating unnecessary conflict or expense.
Before returning to private practice, I served for more than a decade as a state trial court magistrate. That experience gave me a practical understanding of how family law cases are evaluated and resolved, and reinforced the importance of preparation, credibility, and realistic expectations.
I represent clients in divorce and related family law matters with an emphasis on clarity, organization, and resolution. I do not believe every case needs to be litigated, and I am thoughtful about when court involvement is truly necessary. Many matters can be resolved through negotiation or mediation in a way that allows clients to move forward with stability and confidence.
My practice is best suited to clients who want straightforward guidance and a measured, efficient approach to divorce, rather than prolonged conflict.
I also work with attorneys and clients on a limited or consultative basis, including case strategy, financial discovery, and complex family law issues. Engagements may be tailored to the needs of the matter, whether for ongoing representation or discrete legal services.
